Code of Conduct

Welcome to the information focal point of the Knights of Winchester. Those that choose to follow the ways that we teach are welcome to join us. Dereth is encumbered with evil. It is our charge to fight back against these oppressors. To once again bring law to this land in which we call home. We are looking for others to bring their knowledge to our guild and for us to give knowledge to. In this vast land, it is a welcomed site to see another that holds the same truths as oneself. Welcome to our family.

The Code

 1.    To live one’s life to the extent that, when looked back

        upon, ye shall find respect and honor.
 2.    Protect the freedom of the inhabitants of Dereth, By

        brining justice to a land without laws.
 3.    Exhibit self-control while hunting down the oppressors

        that confront our countrymen.
 4.    Show respect to authority.
 5.    Display Valor. Fight with honor. Avenge the wronged.
 6.    Never abandon a friend, ally, or noble cause.
 7.    Always keep your word.
 8.    Maintain your principles.
 9.    Never betray the confidence of another. Unless, one’s

        life depends on it.  

10.   Avoid deception.
11.    Respect all views of life.
12.    Display courtesy. Exhibit manners. Be polite and

         attentive.
13.    Do not allow the actions of others to dictate your own

         actions.
14.    Show loyalty to your principles and heart, To your

         friends and those who have shown loyalty to you.
15.    Be loyal to your Patron first and the Knights of

         Winchester second.

The General Beliefs:

 1.    Protect the weak and add the strong.
 2.    Assist others if your are not in need of assistance yourself.
 3.    Assist whomever is in need even if they hold different

        views then you.
 4.    Stand up against those that are evil.
 5.    Take charge against those that inflict harm and deprive

        the innocent inhabitants of Dereth their rights  to life

        and freedom.
 6.    Guard travelers and help them to their destination when

        asked, or when you come across them.
 7.    When you come across a corpse in your travels,

        inform their relatives of the location.
 8.    Do not accept reward for assisting another.
 9.    We do not give items or pyreal in exchange for allegiance.
10.    We reward those that show nobility and bring honor to the 

         Knights of Winchester.
11.    Be honorable and noble in all settings.
12.    Take Honor in oneself and to be proud that ye belong to an 

         allegiance that cares for a valued way of life.
